PGP Post 4

Since my first plant project did not go so well I decided to give it another try and hope for the best. I had the privilege to plant a new seed in class with the stuff my teacher had brought into class. I picked the Gladiolus. Some parts of the Gladiolus plant can be poisonous if ingested. It is sometimes called the sword lilly. The genus Gladiolus comprises 260 species, 250 of which are native to sub-Saharan Africa, mostly South Africa. This flower comes in a wide array of colors. The Gladiolus flower is actually the birth flower of August. Hopefully this plant goes well and grows for me.
