post 9

Alrighty well this week i found some new type of mineral water which is supposed to be good for plant growth. I wont be able to tell if it works over night, but i mean if it kills my plants i know it wont. This week got pretty windy and knocked over my pot which let some soil on the floor. I picked up my pot and everything seemed to be ok with my plant. Im not to worried that the plant was damaged and the roots will die because of all the healthy minerals i have been giving. I began moving my plant into my green house during the night so it stays warm and wont have the chance of dying off in the cold.

BAM
Well guys, here we are. We come to the close of part one of our Personal Growth Project. Luckily for me, my mustard seeds flourished so beautifully! They just grew and grew and grew! I have actually used my mustard leaves for a sandwich and I must say, it was quite good! I think the only thing I need to work on is knowing how and when to harvest my mustard leaves. I really enjoyed planting and watching my little babies grow so nicely. I hope it was as enjoyable for you too! I intend to continue planting throughout my life.

Week 8

Week eight has been the week that has had the most growth in my snapdragons.  I had watered it everyday, and i had left it in my window to get as much sunlight as it could.  What i had observed about the leaves on my snap dragon were actually healthy. A couple weeks ago I remember that a leaf was almost going to die and i thought i had to start pruning the flower; furthermore, i decided to keep watering the flowers and let it grow healthy.  It indeed had grown to be healthy and grew even more.  Its going be huge!

Definitely growing more stems!

This is week 9 of my planting progress and I think my plant might be dying.  The stems and leaves are starting to droop over and they are not showing signs of strength.  The radish is supposed to be growing under the soil.  I pulled one out to see if there was something really growing under there and it was just roots.  Hopefully the rest of the plant is actually growing the radish.  I’m going to keep watering the plant like usual and hope it continues to grow.  I think the change of weather has been a factor of the plant growth.
Here is a good way to plant fruit.

Since i forgot to post one last time im making up for it this week. During last week i moved my small pot of plants around to see which spot gave the most sunlight. I then moved it onto the top of my wooden table in my garden. My tomatoes are growing very fast and look healthy enough to produce large amounts of produce. hopefully my plants stay healthy enough through the cold and don't wither away! But my chickens have stayed away from my plants which is a good sign. I have not had to chase them around with a knife so i suppose they are safe for now. CLICK

Personal Growth Project Update

My Gladiolus flower hasn't grown since the last time I posted my last update.  I'm not that worried though, my Gladiolus has still grown a little in the past week.  That means I'm still doing everything right, and hopefully my Gladiolus will grow a little more soon.  I believe that my Gladiolus will grow a little more and you'll be able to see a difference from the last picture that I posted.  Fun fact about Gladiolus', a Gladiolus flower can grow up to five feet and six inches tall. I thought that was pretty cool.  Hopefully it doesn't grow to be that big, that would suck.  I have it in a cup in my kitchen, it would be way to big!

Personal Growth Project 9: Not Feeling Good

My red radishes are coming along pretty well. but i have a gut feeling that they aren't going to come out how they are suppose too. They look pretty good from the outside, but from the inside I feel as if they aren't producing any radishes. they seem very wig-ally and as if they could be detached from the ground easily. Next week I will find out if my plant has been producing red radishes. I have failed this commitment to my red radishes and asked my father to help me with them to often. they don't feel very attached to the ground. Next week we will find out if anything was produced. I wish the radish fairy was helping me.
