Leaves!!!!!

I been Maintaining my plantby watering it twice a day. I been giving my pansy plant food;

             however, it seems to be growing at a slow pace. I see a little progress in growth, but I wanted it to be farther along. I believe my plant is healthy because the leaves that did sprout are a

             vibrant green.I feel like I am on the right track, but I do have one concern. Leaves that fall from        the trees keep covering my pant. I fear my pansies will not receive enough sunlight, and the health of them will be in jeopardy. What should I do?
