I started off looking for fall blooming flowers and decided that my best bet was to just go into Lowes. They have a very nice seed display with vegetables and herbs. I decided to try 3 different kinds of seeds: Extra curly parsley, Foxglove, and Carnation. My brother used to work in the garden department at Lowes and he suggested putting these in a pot so they don't just take over our backyard. He also said that a potting soil with fertilizer would be a good idea and putting rocks underneath the soil to help excess water drain.
The Parsley seeds need to soaked over night in warm water. So far I have sown the Foxglove and the Carnation
The carnation is a beautiful plant!
