My Plan for the PGP

The day I was informed about the Personal Growth Project, I had to do some research on what plants or flowers would be best to grow in a pot since I live in an apartment and do not have access to a back or front yard. Of course, I came across multiple sites thanks to Google, and had many options to choose from. After seeing my best choices, I took those choices and made a decision on personal choice and picked the verbena flowers. They seem very simple to take care of, but also beautiful enough to catch your attention.

One of the biggest concerns about growing flowers in a pot, on a balcony of an apartment was if the flowers would not receive enough sunlight. But the verbena flowers only need eight to ten hours of sunlight a day, which should be perfect. Now, that I figured out the main issues, all I need now is to purchase the verbena seeds, a pot, soil, and maybe some fertilizer. If the pot does not come with holes on the bottom, I will need to make holes myself so the excess water can drain to prevent mildew from forming.

  2. I hope your flowers get enough sunlight. That's the only thing I'm pessimistic about, especially in my personal growth project.
